In one of my little nutrition snippets that drop into my email everyday I was informed that arugula is amazing for high blood pressure. I have had HBP since my 20's of no known reason and been on medicine to control it since I was in my 30's. That's a lot of years of pills. I have tried many different things and nothing natural has gotten it to be at an acceptable level so I am always on the lookout for a new direction to go.
I always keep a bunch of mixed greens in my fridge and use them for salads, or I will throw them on a sandwich or a wrap or sometimes even in soups or on top of casseroles. Anything to add more fresh veggies into to my day, so I added a carton of just arugula as well.
Researching it shows me I should be eating it at every meal! Ounce for ounce an excellent source of a bunch of good stuff!
