Ah yes….Corey in a hotel room. His natural habitat
White Castle Veggie Sliders for dinner the night before chemo. Probably not a good idea.
Our hotel room had a lovely view of the trees, sadly not warm enough to open the window.
The hotel was booked up and I ended up with a 2 queen bed room instead of a king. In the middle of the night I got out of our shared bed and moved to a a bed by myself. See if you can figure out why. This is Coreys bed when he woke up.
I do not like the offices in Cincinnati. They are big, and too many sick people in a small space and kind of ganky looking.Everything needs painted.
Except the people. The people are lovely. This is the medical tech who has taken my blood and vitals the last two times. She has only been there a week and we have enjoyed teasing her.
This is Ashley. She is my Clinical Research Nurse. She if very nice, and very helpful.
And hey…tote bag.
The nice chemo places provide drinks and snacks. ‘Cause once you’re hooked up, you are stuck.
The sign says “long haired freaky people, need not apply” or “snacks are for patients only”. You choose.
My view for the day.
I love sesame sticks.
Every Chemo place has had TERRIBLE coffee. This is no exception
They don’t even put the names of the meds on the bags. Just “Investigational”
We were there so long that we were the last people to leave.
Except for the nurses. The one in the foreground is Kim. She was mine for the day. We liked her.
