I think I will make a February resolution. No junk food in the house! My house is filled with cookies and other sweet goodies. I am unable to resist cookies. I am eating some for lunch right now! Maybe I will call it breakfast so I won’t feel bad about going out for lunch in a few minutes. πŸ™‚

I have a cleaning company that comes to my house once every four weeks. I did not make this decision on a whim. I decided many years ago that if I ever moved into a new home I would do it. They are my failsafe. My, no matter what, I know at least once a month everything will get cleaned. I have a VIP coming to my house on Friday! The cleaners will be here next week. NO FAIR!!!!
I guess I could call and ask them to come early but since I just changed companies, I won’t. I will just do my own cleaning. πŸ™‚ They should make a scented candle that smells like Old English Furniture oil. I love that smell.

I had a few places to run to today, nothing too exciting, just business to take care of. I called my daughter to see if she wanted to come with me and when she answered the phone she was at her volunteer position in the room with all the squawking birds. She just said yes since she couldn’t really hear me. I don’t think it’s going to be as exciting an afternoon as she probably hopes for!

I am feeling great! This extra couple of weeks between chemo’s and maybe the addition of the antibiotic has really allowed me to get my strength back. I go in tomorrow for the follow up CT scan, and then on Thursday for chemo. Maybe I should schedule skipping a chemo every six or seven months. On Sunday I came home from working out, a very excellent workout, and then ran on the treadmill. It was crazy. I haven’t been able to run in a very long time. Hopefully this all had more to do with the antibiotics than the missed chemo and I will stay feeling this good.

I had guests come in the other evening and we played games. It was SO MUCH FUN! I love games. My husband played Gin with me before he left for Thailand but it is a rare thing. I wonder if my guests play cards? Can you play Rummy with three people? My husband use to love Euchre. Β I definitely want to start playing games more often with people. The biggest problem is my beagle. She barks for the first 90 minutes. No matter what. I probably should have warned my VIP about that.

My cards against humanity starter set arrived yesterday. I grabbed a random two black cards and five white cards and burst out laughing when I put them together. I must be a horrible person.

Peace out Party People.

  1. The only reason I want Craig to go back to work is the food thing. He is able to eat more and therefor wants more food around. We have a lot of Candy around here. I want it out of my reach.

I would guess that anyone coming to see you only cares about you and not your house.

You know having a big, nasty infection in your lungs would make you feel pretty crappy. I bet that really makes a difference to have that cleared up. I love to hear that you are feeling so well. I hope it continues.

    1. Corey eats every two hours so even though we rarely eat the same food, just seeing him eat makes me eat more. Luckily I would not overly stress about my house. really the only room that isn’t usually at least acceptable is my bedroom. I still have boxes in there. πŸ™‚ But, I don’t really care much. After not having any company for 15 years I am just so happy to have people come over, I don’t care about the house!

Don’t leave without saying something!
