AS if!

You all just keep keeping on and making your crazy ass posts. I will just smile and get on with my life. I was reading a post yesterday that was attacking Obama (stupidly) and it occurred to me that I didn’t respect this persons opinion before why should I let the post bother me now? So, done with that.

Nothing much new and/or exciting in my life. Which makes me happy! I have a very busy week. Just stuff all over the place. I had an upgrade to our cable service installed on Monday – for those of you local – I went to the Media gateway – whooo, that’s a big change! Still trying to figure out how to use my own television now.

We had medical adventures yesterday ย but they were my husbands. His cardiologist ย had scheduled another angiogram with the intent of probably adding stent number six. It turned into a three hour odyssey of nothing. Another cardiologist in the same practice ended up consulting with us and disagreed with the plan and offered other options. So procedure put on hold. Cardiologists will consult, Corey will have appt with them in April and we will go from there.

One of the fun things this week is that I hung out at my daughters potential new house for her home inspection! The house is ridiculously old and in the historic district of Toledo. It is very cool. I am in jealous awe of the attic. I will create a folder on here for pictures for those of you eschewing Facebook. But right now I am in bed so you will just have to wonder – unless you tell me you’re very curious in which case I will message/text/email or something the address so you can look it up on Zillow and see pictures. It’s worth the effort. I am excited for her but the technical term for the shape it’s in can only be described as — shitload of work!

On the medical front for me it’s all status quo. Pulmonologst never answered my message, so I don’t know what is going on. Very frustrating. I will talk to my oncologist or NP next week when I go for chemo and ask them to help me I assume they’ll get better answers, doctor to doctor.

I excitedly realized that NONE of my skirts/dresses/shorts for summer will fit me. I feel a big shopping trip coming very soon! Thank goodness I don’t mind thrift stores. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I have a very early morning service appointment. Our garage door broke! We are unable to open or close it. We have really used the heck out of our home warranty. Last week they sent us a check for a new stove. Our stove is too old to repair and it is having wiring problems. So, new stove coming soon. Nothing fancy, just don’t need it.

Okay – Up and out of bed for me now. I hope you have a spectacular day. Don’t forget all of the wonderful things in your life.

  1. Okay. I want to see the house. I wondered what was going on with your him. I figured you would spill when you were ready. I’m a little more at ease now. Doctors piss me off. Get as much done as you need with that warranty. That is awesome.

I will enjoy my day. Thank you. And give Frankie a hug for me.

  2. Good morning! Well, that was a nice informative post!

The house sounds amazing! How exciting! I can’t wait to see it. Email or text me the info, whichever you prefer.

I’d have to say, I am not a fan of this pulmonologist. I hope one of your other doctors can help you get the info you need.

    New clothes! Happy dance!

I hope you have a great day!

  3. Gosh, I just love you guys! It makes me happy when I see comments from you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I just texted you the address, let me know if you don’t get it. MB – once again I have multiple numbers for you. I really must learn to delete old ones.

  4. Yes, I received the text. The number that ends in 82 is the correct number. Craig’s ends in 09.

I feel the same way when I see comments from you. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I want to see the house too!! My sister had an awesome attic when she owned an old victorian, I’m picturing that in my head. I always said she could turn it into an apartment and I’d totally live there. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m going to message you my email on fb because I only have a dumb phone.
I wish you luck with the medical stuff for both of you. I hope your doc gets your answers. I can’t imagine how stressful that is. I told you about my step mom. She got quite a run around last week. One doc wanted to do a procedure, another one looked at her and said, ‘make sure you ask them WHY and what benefit you’ll get out of it”. The lung doc was the last one she saw who called it a whole bunch of ‘whoee’. What a lot of needless stress docs can cause. ๐Ÿ™
I love thrift stores! My daughter pointed me to an online one. i was skeptical, but everything I ordered was excellent and FIT! That’s kind of a fun trip!

    1. hmmmm, I can not wait to find out who you are. I am running the list of people in my head and trying to reember who told me about their stepmom.
Also – my daughter works for which is the funnest online thrift ever! So easy to spend money.

Donโ€™t leave without saying something!
