Not much…

I am sitting in my daughter’s hospital room watching her sleep for 3 minutes at a time. That’s all that is important right now.  27 year old, 2 year old. When they’re hurt and scared and need you, you react the same way regardless of their age.

I am glad I live in the same city.

She is getting a blood transfusion right now. She doesn’t seem to be making enough of her own. 🙁

  1. Does she have celiac disease? Which is an autoimmune – could that be the problem? Are they doing tests?

I’m worried about you, too. Is there any better food that someone could run out and pick up while you are there?

I am so glad you can be there for her now. It is nice that Corey is back.

Craig said hello. He is worried about Katy and you. He sends his best.

    1. It’s funny that you mention that. She was actually diagnosed as celiac but without testing and after a few years she deciding that the diagnosis was wrong.
Today she was diagnosed with a UTI and I am hoping fixing that will improve everything.
      She is exhausted.
Tell Craig I said thank you. I think today we are finally actually on the mend here. If they don’t release her today it will be tomorrow.

      1. You know, I think you can develop sensitivities to wheat and then you can get better from it. Craig’s dad had a time where he was sick all the time and the doc said he was sensitive to wheat. For years my mother in law made home made corn bread instead of bread with wheat flour. He started to reintroduce it and now he can eat regular bread again.

Ugh, a UTI in addition to the rest of it. Poor kid. That is a lot to go through.

I will tell him. He was so concerned.

I am sure she will glad to be home.

Don’t leave without saying something!
